Well, actually more just the sketches, as that's all I have to show.
So I would just say you can probably just ignore the last post, because most of it is largely irrelevant. Following my current trend of not finishing any illustrations I start, I realised that I wasn't happy with how they looked (I felt that they were more a step back rather than a step forward). For instance if you compare them with this:
with this: it's pretty clear which style is working.
Anyway, so following on from that, the only possible path to take, considering my knack for not finishing things, was just to start sketching without worrying about a finished product, which I think has been working out okay. Just to give you a taste.
So that's it pretty much, and I probably won't have much to show for a while because I plan on carrying on just sketching until I'm somewhat happy with what I'm producing (which won't be for a very, very, long time). I will try to do some proper illustrations though at some point. It's just that there are quite a few things that I want to work on in term of my illustrations, and it's hard to work on them in addition to taking actual jobs and trying to produce finished illustrations for myself. But time management is one of the things I want to work on, so...
